Welcome to Dans Ma Bouteille (the "App"), a Shopify application operated by dansmabouteille® SAS, a company registered in France, with its registered office at 11 rue Léopold Robert, 75014 Paris — France (hereinafter referred to as "we," "us," or "our").

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data when you install and use our App.

      Our Strict Data Promise: Dans Ma Bouteille is strictly a utility application designed to connect to an external database and retrieve nutritional information about wines. We do not collect any data other than your basic Shopify account details. We do not track your behavior, we do not collect analytics, we do not run advertising, and we absolutely do not sell your data to third parties.
    

1. Information We Collect

We operate on a strict data-minimization principle. We only collect the absolute minimum information required to install the App and authenticate your Shopify store.

A. Information You Provide to Us

Shop Owner Account Data: To install and use the App, we collect the name of the shop owner and the email address associated with your Shopify Partner/Store account.
No Passwords: We do not collect, request, or store your Shopify password or any other passwords. Authentication is handled securely and entirely via Shopify's OAuth protocol.

B. Information We Do NOT Collect

To be completely transparent, we want to explicitly state what we do not collect:

We do not collect your store's customer data (names, emails, addresses of your buyers).
We do not collect device identifiers, IP addresses, or browser fingerprints.
We do not collect usage analytics, clickstream data, or behavioral tracking data.
We do not collect location data.

2. How We Use Your Information and Our Legal Basis

Under the GDPR, we must have a valid legal basis to process your personal data. Because we collect almost no data, our processing is strictly limited to one purpose:

The App only retrieves factual, non-personal nutritional data about wine products (e.g., ABV, calories) from our external database; this product data does not constitute personal data.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data for advertising purposes.

Your personal data (Shop Owner Name and Email) is only shared with the following entities strictly to make the App function:

Shopify: As the platform provider, Shopify processes your account data in accordance with their own privacy policy.
Our External Database Provider: We use a third-party external database to fetch the wine nutritional data. We only pass the necessary product identifiers (like wine names or barcodes) to this database. Your personal name and email are not sold or shared with this database provider for their own marketing.

5. International Data Transfers

If we transfer your personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA) (e.g., to our cloud hosting provider), we ensure your data remains protected by relying on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or ensuring the recipient country has an adequate level of data protection.

6. Data Retention

We only keep your personal data for as long as your account is active and the App is installed on your Shopify store.

Upon Uninstallation: If you uninstall the App from your Shopify store, we will deactivate and delete your shop owner name and email from our servers within 30 days, unless we are legally required to retain it.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Under the GDPR, you have specific rights regarding your personal data. Because we hold very little data about you, exercising these rights is simple. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at privacy@dansmabouteille.com:
